Organizations we support and serve:

  • Refugee Resettlement Program. Find the sign-up form here.

  • Bethany Christian Services (BCS). Bethany demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by empowering youths and strengthening families and children around the world through quality social services. Bethany supports vulnerable kids and families in the U.S. and around the world through quality programs focused in adoption, foster care, post adoption counseling services, pregnancy counseling, refugee foster care, refugee resettlement, and Safe Families for Children. ELM Church has sponsored the settlement of 2 refugee families.

  • Prison Fellowship: Angel Tree® is a program that reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. Through Angel Tree, volunteers are mobilized to deliver a gift, the Gospel, and a personal message of love to children on behalf of their mom or dad in prison. Every Angel Tree parent’s family is also given access to a free, easy-to-read copy of the Bible. Find the sign-up form here.

  • Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child is a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Each Christmas season, ELM Church gathers together to assemble presents in shoe boxes to be given to children in developing countries. During natural catastrophes and disasters, ELM Church sends financial support for disaster relief. Find the sing-up form here.

  • Hunting Park Christian Academy. HPCA’s mission is to provide an affordable, quality, Christian education that celebrates a diverse community and leads children to know and serve the Lord.

  • Compassion International. Compassion is a child-advocacy ministry pairing compassionate people with children living in extreme poverty to release the children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. ELM Church sponsors 2 children: Zidane Al Janabi from Indonesia, and Euryne Kyarikunda from Uganda.

  • Cradles to Crayons. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school, and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging with and connecting communities. ELM Church volunteers at Cradles to Crayons throughout the year, sorting and packaging clothes, toys, and basic essentials for low-income families.

“For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, 'You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.'” (Deuteronomy 15:11)

”Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25: 37-40)
