Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify Jesus by encouraging missionaries, sending workers, and mobilizing the church.

Our Vision

To see the church humbly pray, support, and engage in God’s worldwide mission to bring salvation in his Son.

Committee Leader: Hyun-Joo Lee

For the last 14 years, Mission to the World has been working in Angkhjeay village in Cambodia. The Lord has faithfully grown the church Eternal Life in Christ Church (ELCC) plant and the outreach ministry over that time. The ESL outreach through the week will often have 80-100 students come to study. The children’s Sunday school and the worship service on Sunday has as many as 80 attendees. The majority of all these ministries occur at the Smith’s personal home.

ELCC has also been a place of training and discipleship for future church leaders. Over the last 14 years, the Smith’s home has been used to host numerous short-term teams and MTW interns. It has also been the training ground for Khmer pastoral interns and Bible school graduates.

The growing needs of the church and the outreach ministry are the focus of this project. As the ministry outgrows the space afforded in the home, a new site is needed for weekly worship, daily outreach ministries and teaching, and housing to better accommodate those serving together in Angkhjeay village.

MTW believes now is the time to build a place for the ongoing growth of the ministry and to take the next step in helping the church grow and train the next generation of missionaries and Cambodian Christians.

MTW has completed fundraising for phase 1 - fence around the property, well and water tower, church building and outreach classrooms - 70% done. Expected completion date - January 2026.

MTW is fundraising for phase 2 - housing building for short-term teams and interns, sports field, and entry road and parking. Starting in November and expected completion in April 2026.

To see the church engaged in the ministry of the gospel so that the least of these would experience Christ’s mercy

Our Vision

“For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, 'You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.'” (Deuteronomy 15:11)

”Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” (Matthew 25: 37-40)
